Its been simple enough so far Mart, was a bit tricky getting the special bolt out that stops lateral movement of the swing arm. But needs doing as after this many miles there are little bits of corrosion and the bearings could do with re-greasing. Can also clean all those hard to reach places.

Its going to be a bit of an ongoing process now when all this is done it will be move to the front and do that, i need to get the tank off and get to the cold start which has seized.

Will also be a chance to put some new bits on such as HID lights new chain and sprockets and possibly new brake hoses. So this project will run over the next few months

Bike all back together and it was started for the first time since January, started first time and just waiting for a part from the dealer and fix the cold start then all done, looking forward to getting back out there.

Sorry ive not been around for a while, just seems to be a lack of time, the fitness drive is going well (started a year ago) and has resulted in the biggest performance mod for the bike ive gone from 14.5 stone to 11 stone so that should help with acceleration. Will probably start a new thread showing what ive been up to in the near future, hope you are all keeping well

I'm OK thanks Dave. Just not getting excited by bikes at the moment. I keep looking but nothing's floating my boat. Not being on shift any more gives me very little play time tbh.
